Francis Domingo is the founder and head instructor of Hitenkai and has been practicing martial arts for over 20 years. He is also one of the initial members of Tokushikai Canada at its founding along with Peter Kim Sensei.

In addition to Karate-do, Francis also trains in Iaido where he is a member of the Canadian Kendo Federation.

Francis began his Karate training during his childhood in year 2000 under the world renowned Martial Artist and Professor, Dr. Burt Konzak-Sensei. He later ran his Karate training in parallel to his Iaido training at the Japanese Canadian Cultural Centre and received his Black Belt in Karate in 2013. He focused mainly on personal development for the majority of his training, but soon transitioned to entering competitions within Canada and earning a place on Team Canada in 2019-2020, representing Canada on an international stage.

Francis brings with him martial arts knowledge of the highest standard and ensures that students will have the tools they need to reach their full potential.
